In the CNP Awards, consistency has been Kount’s hallmark. In 2022, the Boise, Idaho-based antifraud technology provider took home honors for the 10th consecutive year—the entire existence of the CNP Awards. This year, Kount continues its run garnering recognition by an online vote of customers in two categories: Best Antifraud Solution—Managed Solutions and Best Antifraud Solution—Case Management.
Kount’s solution has been in use since 2009, but in 2022 it will be available for the first time in a cloud-based deployment.
“Kount Command uses advanced AI that’s equipped with supervised and unsupervised machine learning to analyze data from interactions across the customer journey, from new account creation to checkout and payment,” the company said. “We compare data from these interactions against customizable business policies and billions of other interactions in the Identity Trust Global Network in real time. This analysis establishes the potential customer’s and the interaction’s level of identity trust.”
Kount, which was acquired in 2021 by Equifax, said its merger with the Atlanta-based data aggregator has enabled it to combine digital and physical identity data to give businesses a 360-degree view of their customers. The company serves a wide variety of merchant verticals, but is particularly active in financial services, health and beauty, home and kitchen, travel and leisure, and apparel.
