Best Payment Service Provider | Best E-Commerce Platform / Gateway
BlueSnap returns to the CNP Awards for the first time since 2018, garnering Judges Choice and Customer Choice awards in the Best Payment Service Provider category and the Judges Choice award for Best E-Commerce Platform/Gateway. The Waltham, Mass.-based company is one of only two this year to walk away with three CNP Awards statues.
Founded in 2002, BlueSnap launched its All-in-One Payment Platform in 2017 and counts small, mid-market and enterprise B2C and B2B merchant organizations among its clients.
The company says businesses are challenged by traditional payment options in three main areas: global payments, B2B payments and new business models. In cross-border environments, BlueSnap notes that merchants struggle with poor conversion rates and fees, accommodating local currencies and payment types, and managing multiple payment integrations and reconciliation. B2B businesses are still trying to eliminate manual invoicing, paper-based payments, labor-intensive processes and late payments. And, when businesses innovate with things like distributed sales models (franchises, marketplaces, dealerships) or building payments into their products, they struggle to find a payment provider that can innovate with them.
The All-in-One Payment Platform, BlueSnap claims, is the market’s only truly global payment platform that supports multiple sales channels and gives businesses a single connection to multiple global acquiring banks to achieve more sales with higher conversions, while eliminating cross-border fees. It provides flexible APIs with hosted payment fields and mobile SDKs to remove customer friction and deliver a one-click checkout experience—with fraud and chargeback management, taxes, compliance, currencies, payment types, account updater, and more pre-built into the platform.
