Barclaycard Relaunches Gateway

July 2, 2012

Barclaycard Global Payment Acceptance recently launched a new version of its online payment gateway ePDQ. The company says improvements to the gateway include offering clients a hosted payment page, improved fraud screening, easier reporting and the ability to customize the services they require based on their needs, with pricing matched accordingly.

“ePDQ plays an important role in our payment processing business,” says Eduardo Vergara, CEO of Barclaycard Global Business Solutions. “Following significant investment our customers will benefit from one of the best payment processing systems available, offering a wide range of new services that will help our customers meet their business objectives.”

According to a press release, Belgian payment service provider Ogone Payment Services worked closely with Barclaycard to develop the improved gateway and will continue to provide operational support after the launch.
